International Symposium and TU x SDGs Forum on Sustainability in the Dynamic Earth to be held.

The WISE program for Sustainability in the Dynamic Earth (SyDE program) will host its first international symposium and forum on 18 November (wed), 10:00 - 18:00 Japan Standard Time. Those who are interested are welcome to participate online.
The symposium (10:00-15:20) will be the first opportunity to know about the whole scope the SyDE program, covering natural hazard studies, risk management, international collaboration, and human and social science aspect of disaster and sustainability, through lectures from distinguished researchers from Tohoku University and partners of multiple sectors in the world.
In the TU (Tohoku University) x SGDs forum (16:00-18:00), we will have high-profile international experts as panelists, who will make discussion on the theme "Role of academic and educational institutions in proactive response to risks".
